Job Description:

Location: London, UK, on-site

We are recruiting a (Junior) EHS Advisor to support health, safety and environmental operations within a leading global financial services environment in London.

The role would suit an early-career EHS professional who has already gained experience within a large corporate organisation and understands the expectations, stakeholder relationships and operational standards associated with highly regulated, professional working environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day EHS compliance across a corporate office environment.
  • Conduct workplace risk assessments, inspections and audits.
  • Assist with incident investigations, reporting and corrective actions.
  • Liaise with facilities management, contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate EHS documentation and compliance records.
  • Support the implementation of EHS policies and initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous EHS or Health & Safety experience within banking, financial services, investment management or a comparable large corporate environment.
  • An understanding of the professional standards, confidentiality, stakeholder expectations and operational demands of a global financial institution.
  • Experience working alongside corporate facilities management or workplace services teams.
  • Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at different levels.

Important: Previous experience in a comparable corporate environment is essential. We are looking for someone who already understands how health and safety operates within a large, professional, client-facing organisation rather than someone whose experience is exclusively in construction, manufacturing or industrial settings.

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
