We’re looking for a forward-thinking Business Applications Manager to lead the development, optimisation and continuous improvement of our business applications, with a particular focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on our digital transformation journey, helping us unlock the full potential of Dynamics 365 and emerging technologies across the organisation. At the heart of our technology landscape, you’ll help shape how our business applications evolve, ensuring they support our priorities while delivering excellent experiences for both colleagues and clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll build trusted relationships across the organisation, working closely with stakeholders to understand their priorities, challenges and opportunities and turning these into practical system improvements and effective solutions.
You’ll take ownership of the Dynamics 365 roadmap and enhancement backlog, helping to shape future developments and ensuring the platform continues to evolve alongside our organisational needs. Using data, client and user feedback and operational insight, you’ll identify smarter ways of working that improve experiences, increase adoption and drive continuous improvement. Working alongside technical teams and external partners, you’ll oversee the design, development and delivery of enhancements and new functionality. You’ll ensure solutions are well-designed, user-focused and connected to our wider business systems, supporting their successful implementation across the organisation.
You will also:
- Lead the ongoing management, support and continuous improvement of business applications
- Use support trends, user insight and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Promote effective use of business applications through training, coaching and user engagement
- Champion high-quality data management, integrity and governance practices
- Ensure solutions remain compliant with GDPR and data governance requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise enhancements and maximise business value
- Support the adoption of new technologies and ways of working across the organisation
We’re looking for a personable, strategic and customer-focused professional who can combine strong business applications expertise with a real passion for continuous improvement. You’ll be confident using data, customer and user feedback and operational insight to spot opportunities, improve processes and get the best from business systems. You’ll understand how technology can create seamless end-to-end experiences for customers and colleagues and you’ll be able to translate business needs into practical solutions that support our wider organisational goals. Just as importantly, you’ll know how to bring people with you on the journey. You’ll be comfortable leading change, building engagement and supporting users to embrace new ways of working, ensuring our technology delivers meaningful and lasting value across the organisation.
You’ll also bring:
- Experience managing Dynamics 365 CRM solutions, or equivalent experience managing other Microsoft Dynamics solution components
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective relationships at all level
- Experience gathering, analysing and acting on customer and user feedback to improve systems, services and experiences
- A customer-focused mindset with a genuine passion for improving user and customer experiences
- Experience integrating CRM platforms with wider business systems to support seamless end-to-end processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn insight into action
- Experience driving continuous improvement through data, feedback and best practice
- Experience leading training, user adoption and change management initiatives
- Understanding of data management and GDPR requirements
