The Role
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring production machinery to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manufacturing machinery in accordance with production requirements.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments where necessary.
- Conduct quality inspections using measuring equipment and visual checks.
- Complete production records and documentation accurately.
- Identify and report machine faults, defects, or maintenance requirements.
- Work closely with colleagues to meet production targets.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping.
About You
- Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to follow work instructions and production processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Experience using measuring equipment would be advantageous.
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
