Purpose of Role:
To provide accurate measurement, cost planning and cost advice from feasibility through to construction, working with multi-disciplinary teams to develop designs that are commercially viable.
Essential Criteria
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related RICS-accredited discipline
At least 3 years’ post-graduate quantity surveying experience in a construction pre-contract department or consultancy environment
Experience across a range of construction project sectors
Experience taking projects through design development and tender to contract award, RIBA Stage 5 and beyond
Excellent communicator, able to present cost advice clearly to clients and design teams
Proficient in measurement software (e.g. CostX or similar) and MS Excel
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines
Current valid UK driving licence.
