The tasks required to discharge them can be delegated; assistance and support can be obtained; but the responsibility remains with youSetting up and printing high quality designs up to 8 colours onto Flexible plastic substrates and paperMaintain a high level of quality, accuracy, and productivity to make sure efficient day to day running of wide web flexographic printing pressEnsure that press speeds are optimised, maximising uptime and minimising downtime. Continually checking on safe and efficient operationFollowing an appropriate trouble shooting activity escalate maintenance issuesPro-active approach so the print machine always runs smoothly; observe the process and spot any issues that may arise, assess, evaluate root cause and use problem-solving skills to correct and rectifyReport issues to the Quality department that may affect output throughout the shiftMaintain good housekeeping on the press and surrounding areas – 5S auditingMaintain stock levels of all necessary materials to fulfil the shift efficientlyDealing with solvent- based inksHave the experience and knowledge to provide support and training to any new starters or personnelResponsible for basic maintenance and cleaning of print machineryComprehensive handover carried out after every shiftPerson SpecificationPrevious experience of flexographic print minimum of 3-5 yearsKnowledge of Lamination and Slitting processesExperience of mounting processFollow BRC Code of PracticeGood attention to detail and an ability to problem solve and work on own initiativeMust be able to work as part of a teamManage and deal with change in a fast moving and demanding environment whilst still maintaining standards set within the businessContribute to the continuous improvement activity
