Butler Rose is pleased to be partnering with a highly respected, influential professional organisation to appoint a Head of Financial Services to lead its financial services agenda. This role offers a genuine opportunity to influence the future of financial services, shape industry thinking and make a genuine impact.
This isn’t a traditional accounting or finance leadership role. We’re looking for a forward-thinking, commercially astute individual who combines strong technical knowledge with the vision, credibility and ability to influence senior stakeholders across the financial services industry.
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping strategic direction, driving thought leadership, influencing regulatory and policy discussions, and developing relationships with senior industry figures, professional firms and regulatory bodies.
Person Specification:
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent chartered qualification, with strong technical financial services expertise.
- Significant experience across Financial Services i.e. banking, insurance, investment management, professional services or oversight / membership bodies.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex technical matters into meaningful industry insight.
- Strong commercial awareness, stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities.
- A collaborative, engaging personality with the confidence to influence at senior level and challenge conventional thinking.
