We re working with an established and innovative engineering business in Oxfordshire, operating within a highly regulated, specialist manufacturing environment and delivering technically advanced products to global customers.

This is a great opportunity to join a hands–on engineering team and take projects from concept design development production.

What you ll be doing as a Mechanical Design Engineer

• 3D CAD design & development
• Detailed drawings, BOMs & engineering documentation
• Design for manufacture & assembly
• Engineering change & configuration control
• CNC/manufacturing data
• Prototype, testing & validation support
• NPI and design reviews
• DFMEA and design risk management
• Working closely with Manufacturing, Quality & customers

What we re looking for in a Mechanical Design Engineer

• Experienced Mechanical/Design Engineer
• Strong 3D CAD experience SolidWorks, Solid Edge, CATIA or similar
• Experience with manufacturing/CNC processes
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings & BOMs
• Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent experience
• Ideally from aerospace, advanced manufacturing, composites or another regulated environment
