Functional Skills Tutor – CH3, Chester
Location: CH3, ChesterHours: Part-Time | Weekdays Between School HoursPay: £25-£30 per hour+
TP Tutors is looking for a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to Primary and Secondary-aged learners across Chester.
The Role
Deliver engaging 1:1 Functional Skills tuition in English and/or Maths.
Plan lessons according to each child’s individual learning needs and abilities.
Adapt lessons to support different learning styles, including pupils with SEN.
Help learners build confidence and improve their academic progress.
Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 1 year’s UK teaching or tutoring experience.Experience working with Primary and Secondary-aged learners.SEN experience.Strong knowledge of Functional Skills English and/or Maths.Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.Right to work in the UK.
