At Hutton Manor Care Home, part of the St Mary’s Care Group, we believe that great care is about so much more than supporting daily needs. It’s about building meaningful relationships, sharing moments of kindness, and helping every resident feel valued, respected, and truly at home.
We are proud to provide high-quality residential care in a warm and welcoming environment where residents are encouraged to live life to the fullest, maintain their independence, and continue enjoying the things that matter most to them.

- Assisting residents with mobility needs and ensuring equipment is used safely and appropriately.
- Monitoring residents’ wellbeing and promptly reporting any concerns to senior staff.
- Supporting residents living with dementia and those who may require additional reassurance and encouragement.
- Assisting with care plans, observations, and accurate record keeping.
- Encouraging residents to take part in activities, hobbies, and social events within the home.
- Responding to call bells and supporting residents promptly and professionally.
- Helping to create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents and visitors.
- Welcoming family members and visitors, helping them feel comfortable and supported.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.
- Providing compassionate support to residents and families during end-of-life care when required.

- Have a kind, caring, and compassionate nature.
- Enjoy working with and supporting older people.
- Are reliable, positive, and work well as part of a team.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are patient, respectful, and professional in their approach.
- Are willing to learn and develop within the role.
- Can work flexibly, including alternate weekends.

Most importantly, we’re looking for individuals who genuinely care about others and want to make a difference every single day.
