Registered Nurses NURSE BANK Band 5 – £34,544 – £43,039 pro rata/per annum Plus £1,461 Distant Islands Allowance pro rata/per annum.
In Isle of Lewis, SCT, GB.
Applicants must be NMC registered and can be from General Nursing or Mental Health. Locations include Western Isles Hospital, Stornoway Ospadal Uibhist agus Barraigh, Benbecula and St Brendan’s Hospital, Barra.

This post is not eligible for relocation expenses.
Responsibilities
- the provision of professional nursing care,
- to meet the individual needs of the patient population and be accountable for the delivery of such care,
- the assessment of care needs,
- the development, implementation and evaluation of programs of care,
- the facilitation and support of staff development in the hospital and community areas.
Requirements
- Experience of nursing patients in an acute and/or community environment is essential.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development is essential.
