This position is for an employed position, we will consider subcontractors – 5 days preferred, but will accept 3 days – weekend work available in addition.Communicate with customers effectively and respectfullyInstall, repair, and maintain gas systems in residential propertiesConduct inspections to identify gas leaks or other safety hazardsTest and adjust gas pressure to ensure proper functioning of equipmentInstall and connect gas appliances, such as boilers, cookers, water heaters, and firesProvide technical support and guidance to customers regarding gas systemsCarry out general plumbing work – changing taps, fixing toilets, waste repairsUse our online portal effectively and report to the office where required
Requirements:Must have gas qualifications – a minimum of 3 years experience preferred but happy with less if have experienceValid driver’s license with a clean driving record – this will be checkedProficiency in using power tools and hand tools for installation and repair workStrong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and diagnose gas system issuesAbility to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as requiredAbility to assemble and disassemble gas system components accurately
