Technical Product ManagerIntroductionAn exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Product Manager to join a growing engineering business in Romsey. This newly created role has a strong technical and commercial focus, supporting product development, suppliers and internal teams.
Main ResponsibilitiesManage and develop agreed product ranges and supplier relationships.Review product specifications, pricing, availability and alternatives.Support product improvements, new product introductions and pricing decisions.Maintain accurate product, technical and commercial information.Work closely with engineering, sales, procurement and operations teams.Monitor market and competitor activity.Provide technical and commercial advice to colleagues and customers.Prepare product presentations and supporting documentation.Coordinate projects and actions through to completion.
Ideal Skills & Experience5+ years’ experience in Product Management, Technical Sales or a similar technical role.Engineering or mechanical background preferred.Experience in product development, technical products or supplier management.Strong understanding of specifications, costs, pricing and margins.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Highly organised with strong attention to detail.Confident using Excel and business systems.Full UK driving licence.Willingness to travel occasionally in the UK and internationally.
SalaryUp to £40,000, depending on experience and suitability.
HoursFull-Time, Permanent Monday–Friday, office-based in Romsey
