Senior/ Principal Digital Consultant (Information Management)- UK Wide

Overview

In this role you will drive digital and data delivery for major infrastructure programmes, shaping strategy and frameworks to maximise digitisation and data use. You’ll work across client environments, leading information management and BIM initiatives to improve efficiency and support Net Zero goals. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, act as a digital services advocate, and influence client decisions through tangible delivery outcomes. Responsibilities

• Provide Information Management expertise across client organisations and major programmes from strategy to delivery
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and adapt to varied client environments
• Advise on digital delivery and transformation leveraging Information Management and BIM to unlock value
• Capture and analyse client requirements to design Digital Strategies aligned with objectives
• Coordinate with P3M experts to integrate Information Management with PMO and asset data
• Author BIM documentation and related processes following industry best practices
• Define and implement delivery frameworks, governance models, and best practices
• Foster a positive team culture through emotional intelligence and mentorship
• Engage with industry trends and share insights with the wider team
• Champion Turner & Townsend’s digital services to clients

Key requirements

• Strong knowledge of Information Management standards BS EN ISO 19650 and the UK BIM Framework
• Understanding of emerging technologies relevant to delivery
• Knowledge of roles and responsibilities in digitally enabled projects
• Experience creating and maintaining BIM documentation
• Experience with Common Data Environments (Aconex, Asite, ProjectWise)
• Knowledge of 3D modelling and BIM tools (Navisworks, Solibri)
• Familiarity with dashboard tools (Power BI, Tableau) and PMO tools
• Ability to set up and manage SharePoint sites
• Curious, capable of learning new software skills
• Stakeholder engagement and strategic framework definition
• Client-facing presentation and workshop delivery
• Independent, self-motivated work style; strong communication across diverse teams
