Senior Software Developer (Python, AWS, Terraform)

Overview

In this technology consultancy role you support the full software development lifecycle with hands-on coding and close collaboration with a delivery lead. You work across front-end, back-end, and integrations to design and deliver high-quality solutions for clients. You will explore new technologies, develop features, and contribute to delivering complete projects, while learning from experienced managers. You may travel to client sites across the UK and join cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• System development across front-end, back-end and integrations
• Workflow planning
• Process optimization and quality assurance
• Implementing customer requirements for new features
• Analysis and design of the overall solution
• Daily sparring with the team
• Full life cycle of delivery

Key requirements

• 4+ years IT experience
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
• Curiosity to explore new technologies
• Ideally full-stack or backend with Python and either TypeScript or React and Terraform
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle
• Ability to code within projects
• Experience with databases (MongoDB, SQL or Document Database)
• Experience in Unit Testing
• Experience in Model-View-Controller
• Previous involvement in developing and delivering major IT solutions
• Understanding of agile tools and techniques
• Excellent communication and professional attitude
• Highly ambitious and career-focused
• Willingness to travel to client sites in the UK and right to work in the UK
