Mission Planning and Control Systems Engineer

Overview

In this role you will contribute to Mission Planning products for domestic and export customers, collaborating across MBDA-France and external partners. You will work through the product lifecycle, from requirements to certification, highlighting international teamwork and the impact of defence systems. The position offers exposure to cross-functional delivery and travel, with a focus on building sound system understanding. This is a compelling opportunity to shape mission planning capabilities within a global defence context.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Mission Planning product development across lifecycle
• Collaborate with MBDA-France and external partners to understand system principles
• Author internal and end-user documentation
• Engage in requirements definition, design generation, and flow-down to proving and certification
• Support cross-team, cross-location collaboration to solve technical problems

Key requirements

• Understanding of Systems Engineering Process (essential)
• Experience with Requirements Capture and Control and Configuration Management (e.g., DOORS)
• Strong analytical problem-solving abilities
