Quality Assurance Inspection Team Leader (RBAT)

Overview

In this role you lead the QA inspection team to uphold quality and efficiency across components. You will work closely with Production Control and engineering to ensure parts meet specifications and resolve non-conformances. You drive continuous improvement, data accuracy and clear reporting to stakeholders. This role combines hands-on leadership with quality engineering in a pioneering, technology-driven environment. Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a collaborative, high-performing team within the department and wider business
• Maintain high standards of quality and health & safety across all activities
• Ensure team members have the tools, equipment and environment needed to work effectively
• Identify and develop team capability, ensuring the right skills are in place across shifts
• Work closely with Production Control to deliver priorities and ensure smooth progression of parts
• Support efficient department performance and on-time delivery to internal customers
• Provide clear updates on performance, issues and risks within the department
• Ensure components meet required specifications (dimensional, material, revision and processes)
• Liaise with engineering to resolve issues, raising and progressing non-conformances as needed
• Maintain accurate data and reporting within business systems (e.g. inspection reports, NCRs)
• Drive continuous improvement and support efficiency initiatives
• Promote clear communication and alignment within the team and with key stakeholders
• Maintain a clean, organised and compliant working environment
