Finance Business Partner

Overview

In this Finance Business Partner role, you will own financial performance for an individual division, delivering commercial insight and challenge to drive value. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to shape budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decisions. You’ll translate financial data into actionable recommendations, support board packs, and help improve processes and efficiency. This is a hands-on role with broad exposure in a growing international organisation and a chance to influence performance beyond numbers.

Responsibilities

• Produce and analyse divisional management accounts and performance reports
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for business planning
• Develop cash flow models and conduct cost analysis
• Monitor product margins and drive improvements in commercial performance
• Partner with stakeholders across divisions to provide financial insight and challenge
• Influence decisions with clear financial analysis and recommendations
• Support preparation of board packs and present insights to senior leadership
• Act as a key finance contact across multiple business areas
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and strengthen financial processes
• Support ad hoc projects and broader finance initiatives

Key requirements

• Strong commercial finance mindset and experience in engineering, manufacturing or similar industry
• Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders
• Proactive, commercially astute with ability to challenge the status quo
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights
• Excellent Excel skills and experience with financial models and reporting tools
