Quality Assurance Coordinator

Overview

In this role you support the site QMS, driving ISO 9001 compliance and continuous improvement. You will work with cross-functional teams to manage audits, document control, training, and non-conformance investigations, reporting to the Regional QA Manager at Cambridge. The position blends quality operations with a focus on continuous improvement to enhance performance and compliance. A remote-friendly Abcam culture offers flexibility while maintaining an on-site presence in Cambridge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the site Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 requirements
• Coordinate audits, non-conformance investigations, change controls, and corrective actions
• Deliver quality training and support cross-functional quality initiatives to boost operational performance

Key requirements

• Degree in biological sciences or equivalent in quality management systems
• 2 years’ experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Systems or regulated manufacturing/laboratory environment
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, or equivalent standards
