Overview
In this role you will plan and manage complex energy infrastructure programs from development through delivery. You work closely with project teams to build and maintain detailed schedules, integrate subcontractor plans, and provide critical planning insight to support decisions. You’ll monitor baselines, identify risks, and drive on-time performance, while evaluating contractor submissions and shaping recovery strategies. You contribute to connecting renewables to the grid and support the UK’s net-zero ambitions in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project programmes across lifecycle
- Integrate subcontractor schedules and manage programme updates
- Provide planning insight to support decision-making
- Monitor progress against baselines and report performance
- Identify risks/delays and implement mitigation strategies
- Evaluate contractor programme submissions and compensation events
- Develop recovery plans to keep projects on track
- Support change management and ensure alignment with client requirements
Key requirements
- Significant experience developing and managing complex project schedules using Primavera P6
- Experience managing programme change within P6 per contractual/client requirements
- Solid understanding of design, engineering and construction sequencing
- Experience working under NEC4 contracts
- Ability to analyse programme performance, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies
- Strong stakeholder management skills across multidisciplinary teams
