Economic Crime Product Lifecycle Manager

Overview

In this role you will act as a trusted advisor on economic crime risks across the Business Banking product suite, focusing on cash management, payments, and lending. You collaborate with Compliance, Risk and business teams to embed controls and governance throughout the product lifecycle, supporting compliant, customer‑focused offerings. You will lead risk assessments, advise on policy and risk reporting, and strengthen risk management practices to enable safe growth. This position combines product leadership with deep financial crime expertise to protect the business and customers at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead product-related risk assessments and governance across Business Banking products
• Provide expert financial crime advisory guidance to stakeholders
• Support approval processes for new products and enhancements with risk controls
• Coordinate with Compliance, Risk, and business units to embed governance frameworks
• Develop and maintain risk controls to strengthen the control environment
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve complex risk-related problems
• Communicate complex information to senior stakeholders
• Mentor and lead teams to deliver objectives and drive performance
• Align product strategy with regulatory and risk requirements

Key requirements

• Extensive first-line Economic Crime experience
• Product Owner experience with governance and lifecycle management
• Strong leadership and ability to develop high-performing teams
• Knowledge of cash management, lending, and Business Banking product suite
• Experience in regulated financial services environments and regulatory considerations
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
