Manager – Privileged Access Management

Overview

In this role you lead the Privileged Access Management (PAM) capability within the IAM function, shaping strategy and governance for privileged identities, credentials, and secrets across on‑premise, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will drive adoption of modern identity security practices, automate where possible, and ensure regulatory compliance and risk reduction. You partner with cross-functional teams to deliver the PAM roadmap and improve operational resilience. This is a strategic leadership role with a hands-on focus on security transformation and scalable controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing PAM team
• Define and deliver the strategic PAM & Secrets Management roadmap
• Establish enterprise-wide governance for privileged identities, service accounts and secrets
• Promote least-privilege, just-in-time access, and privileged session management
• Collaborate with Technology, Security, Risk, Architecture, and Audit to manage privileged access risks
• Oversee lifecycle management of privileged and non-human identities across infrastructure, apps, databases, and cloud platforms
• Lead PAM integration with IGA, cloud security, DevOps, and automation platforms
• Ensure regulatory, audit, and policy compliance through controls and reporting
• Develop and monitor KPIs, KRIs, and operational metrics for performance and risk reduction
• Drive automation and process improvements to scale operations and resilience
• Manage PAM incidents and remediation activities to continual improvement
• Stay aware of emerging threats and translate into actionable PAM enhancements
• Contribute to broader IAM and security strategy and transformation initiatives

Key requirements

• 8+ years in Information Security, IAM, or related technology disciplines
• Proven experience leading PAM programmes in complex enterprises
• Experience managing technical teams and mentoring staff
• Hands-on with PAM platforms (CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea) or equivalent
• Experience with Secrets Management (HashiCorp Vault) and cloud-native secrets
• Experience integrating PAM with IGA (SailPoint, Saviynt)
• Experience in regulated environments with audit, risk, and compliance requirements
• Proven security transformation, automation, and process improvement initiatives
