In-House Risk & Compliance Solicitor

An exciting opportunity for a qualified lawyer with hands‑on risk and compliance experience to join an established legal team within a growing professional services business.

Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll provide commercially focused legal advice across a broad range of internal legal, regulatory and operational matters, with exposure to strategic projects and emerging business areas.

The Role

• Advise on general legal risk, commercial matters and regulatory compliance.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and client terms of business.
• Support data protection, technology risk and related projects.
• Monitor regulatory developments and help implement changes to policies and procedures.
• Deliver internal regulatory training and promote best practice.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders on firm-wide initiatives.
• Support the development and mentoring of junior team members where appropriate.

About You

• Qualified solicitor with practical risk and compliance experience.
• Background ideally gained within a law firm, financial services organisation or regulatory body.
• Strong commercial judgement, legal drafting and analytical skills.
• Confident building relationships with senior stakeholders and providing pragmatic advice.
• Highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing competing priorities.
