Business Analyst

Company: We Do Group
Apply for the Business Analyst
Location: London
Job Description:

£60,000 – £65,000 | South Kensington | Hybrid – 3 days in the office

We Do Group are partnering with an exciting government-backed creative and technology organisation to recruit a highly analytical and commercially minded Business Analyst / Commercial Finance Analyst to join their newly formed team.

The organisation has been established to create a secure and trusted marketplace connecting UK creative and cultural content owners with AI developers and data customers, helping unlock the value of British creative content while supporting innovation across the technology sector.

This is an opportunity to join at a hugely exciting stage of its journey and become the go-to person for data, analysis and performance insight across the organisation.

This isn’t a role where you’ll simply produce reports and send them on. You’ll be expected to get underneath the data, identify trends and opportunities, form opinions and turn your analysis into recommendations that influence real business decisions.

Hybrid – 3 days in the office / 2 from home

What will you be doing?

  • Becoming the go-to person for data, analysis and performance reporting
  • Tracking budgets, programme spend and costs, supporting strong financial control
  • Building and developing KPI reporting, dashboards and performance analysis
  • Analysing customer behaviour, supplier engagement and platform performance
  • Identifying trends, patterns and commercial opportunities within the data
  • Turning complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Working closely with commercial, platform and programme teams
  • Supporting business cases and strategic decisions with robust analysis and evidence

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone from a Business Analyst, Commercial Finance or similar analytical background who genuinely enjoys working with data.

You’ll need advanced Excel skills, ideally alongside Power BI or other data visualisation tools, and the confidence to turn complex analysis into clear commercial recommendations.

Above all, you’ll be analytical, commercially curious and proactive, with the confidence to challenge ideas and influence decisions.

This is a data-heavy, Excel-heavy analytical role with business partnering exposure – rather than a traditional business partnering position with a small amount of analysis.

If you love getting underneath the numbers, building dashboards, spotting trends and turning data into commercial insight, while working within an organisation operating at the intersection of culture, technology and AI, this could be a fantastic next move.
