Project Finance Associate (3-6 PQE)
We are working with a leading US law firm on a position within their top-tier Project, Energy & Infrastructure Finance team in their London office. The position is for a 3-6 PQE Associate.
You will be working on the development and financing of large-scale energy and infrastructure projects worldwide, covering energy transition and industrial projects, digital infrastructure, LNG and oil and gas, conventional and renewable power, mining and metals, and energy storage. The work spans greenfield project financings, holdco and portfolio financings, and acquisition financings of energy assets.
The team acts for sponsors, commercial lenders, export credit agencies, development finance institutions and governments on complex, multi-sourced financings that often span multiple jurisdictions across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Americas. Associates work across both the finance and project development side of matters, with real responsibility and close partner contact.
This position is ideally suited to an individual with:
- 3-6 years PQE in project finance or projects within energy and infrastructure
- Experience acting for sponsors, lenders, ECAs or DFIs on project or infrastructure financings
- Background at a law firm with a strong projects practice
- England & Wales qualified ideally, though Australian qualified lawyers will be considered
