Long term Freelance opportunity

Are you an experienced Agent with a strong background in major highways and civils projects? An exciting long-term opportunity is available for an experienced Agent to join a major infrastructure project in Scotland, with immediate and upcoming starts available.

The Opportunity

You will play a key role in the delivery of major civil engineering works, working across a large-scale highways project involving a combination of roads, earthworks, drainage and structures.

This is a long-term freelance opportunity, making it ideal for an experienced Agent looking for stability on a major infrastructure scheme.

The Role

As an Agent, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient and successful delivery of works on site, managing site teams, subcontractors and project activities while ensuring programmes, quality and health and safety requirements are maintained.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience delivering major highways or civils projects, with a strong understanding of construction operations and site management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Agent / Site Agent on major highways projects
• Strong experience across roads, earthworks, drainage and/or structures
• Ability to manage site teams, subcontractors and construction activities
• Strong understanding of health, safety, quality and environmental requirements
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Relevant construction qualifications and site-based experience
• Highways/civils background is essential
