Veterinary Surgeon Vacancy – HEAD VET – Grays, ESSEX (to £70K)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Vet Surgeon to step into a Head Vet role at a small animal veterinary practice in the Grays area of ESSEX.

• excellent full time permanent opportunity including 1 in 4 weekends on a rota and no OOH.
• practice is a purpose-built, modern and well equipped with: digital X-ray and dental X-ray facilities, flexible endoscopes for bronchoscopy, gastro-endoscopy, and colonoscopy, access to CT scanner, orthopaedic kit for cruciate and patella luxation repairs (including TPLO), frature repairs etc, multi-parameter monitors, nerve locator, drip pumps, and CRI systems
• Interesting and varied caseload including; Laparoscopic spays, Laser therapy treatments, Pet travel certification services and advanced small animal orthopaedics,
• ideally you will be an experienced Vet with a minimum 3 years’ UK experience in small animal practice and confident with routine surgical procedures looking for progression into higher role.
• join a 4 Vet team including a certificate holder in small animal surgery and advanced small animal orthopaedics.
• if you are already a certificate holders or are working towards one this would be desirable.

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Registered with the RCVS
• experienced Vet,
• minimum 3 years’ UK experience
• looking for progression into higher role
