The Opportunity
Stockford Recruitment is partnering with an innovative, growing FinTech business specialising in AI-driven data solutions, payment technology and geospatial intelligence.
Working with globally recognised technology and financial services organisations, the business is expanding its engineering team and seeking a Frontend Developer to help build new customer-facing applications and modernise existing platforms.
Working alongside the Lead Frontend Engineer, you’ll have genuine ownership of development work and contribute to frontend architecture, product development and engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain modern, responsive applications using React and TypeScript.
- Develop reusable UI components and intuitive customer-facing interfaces.
- Contribute to new product development and existing platform improvements.
- Integrate REST APIs and support backend development where required.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools to support development efficiency.
- 3+ years’ commercial development experience.
- Experience with REST APIs and frontend application architecture.
- Some backend exposure, ideally Node.js, or willingness to develop these skills.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as Copilot, Cursor or Claude Code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.
Desirable: TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js and previous FinTech or SaaS experience.
