Key Responsibilitiesn n n Delivering high-quality care and education aligned directly with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. n n Acting as a Key Person to a group of children, tracking progress, carrying out observations, and planning individualised next steps. n n Creating safe, engaging, and inclusive indoor and outdoor learning environments that foster curiosity and development. n n Maintaining robust safeguarding standards, promoting child protection, and supporting personal care routines. n n Building positive, collaborative relationships with parents, carers, and nursery managers. n Candidate Requirementsn n n Full and relevant Level 3 Qualification in Early Years / Childcare (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, NCFE, or equivalent). n n In-depth practical knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework and child protection procedures. n n An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to complete a new check during registration). n n A valid Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certificate is highly desirable. n n A proactive, warm, and energetic approach to early years care. n About GAC Education & Safeguardingn GAC Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
