Job Description Location: Winchester, Hampshire Job Type: Permanent Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 n The Role n Are you an experienced Senior Estimator looking for your next opportunity within civil engineering? n n You’ll join a growing business with an established presence across the South of England, working on a varied portfolio of civil engineering, groundworks and infrastructure projects . n n You’ll take ownership of tenders from initial review through to submission, using your commercial and technical knowledge to produce accurate, competitive bids and help secure new work. n n What you’ll be doing n n Lead the estimating process from tender review through to submission. n Prepare accurate estimates, cost plans and detailed tender returns. n Review drawings, specifications, scopes and contract documentation . n Obtain, assess and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations. n Identify commercial risks, opportunities and value engineering options . n Work closely with the pre-construction, commercial and operational teams. n Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors. n About the Company n You’ll be joining an established civil engineering and contracting business based near Winchester , delivering projects across the South of England. n The business provides a broad range of services including groundworks, earthworks, drainage, foundations and piling, remediation, retaining walls and infrastructure works .
