Description: Tetra Tech Europe is seeking a non-contentious construction or commercial contracts lawyer to join its legal team in Leeds. The role involves reviewing, advising on, and negotiating contract terms governing professional consultancy services, including bespoke, industry-standard (e.g., NEC PSC), and government contracts.
Key responsibilities include: advising senior management on legal risks, conducting tender reviews, delivering legal training to project managers, and investigating legal AI solutions. The successful candidate will also assist in supervising and developing the team’s solicitor apprentice.
Eligibility: Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 4+ years’ PQE in non-contentious construction law or similar in-house experience. Candidates with fewer years’ PQE but strong relevant experience, or those with commercial contracts experience and a willingness to learn construction law, will also be considered. Strong analytical, communication, and multi-tasking skills are required.
