Site Manager in Brighton

SITE MANAGER – HOVE, BRIGHTON

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to take full responsibility for a £1m refurbishment project in Hove, starting late October / early November.

The project involves the full strip-out and refit of an existing building, which is being converted into an SEN school. The project is expected to run for approximately 6 months, with the successful Site Manager overseeing the works from initial strip-out through to final handover.

The role:

• Full site management from start to completion
• Overseeing strip-out, refurbishment and fit-out works
• Managing subcontractors and site labour
• Ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to the required standard
• Coordinating trades and deliveries
• Working closely with the Project Manager and client
• Maintaining site records, RAMS and health & safety requirements
• Taking the project through to final handover

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment/fit-out projects
• Strong knowledge of health & safety and site management
• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Experience managing projects from start to finish
• Project: £1m refurbishment / SEN school conversion
• Location: Hove, Brighton
• Duration: Approx. 6 months
• Start: Late October / early November
