Business Development Analyst

A leading international law firm is looking to hire a Business Development Analyst to join its high-performing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced business intelligence, market research, or strategic insights professional to play a key role in supporting partners and senior stakeholders across a global platform. The position offers significant exposure to strategic decision-making, client development initiatives, and high-profile private capital clients across the UK, Europe, and APAC.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct client, market, and competitor research to identify growth opportunities
• Produce high-quality client briefings, market reports, and strategic intelligence
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and client developments
• Support key client planning and business development initiatives through data-driven insights
• Collaborate with international teams to support consistent intelligence gathering and knowledge sharing
• Present complex information in a clear and commercially focused manner to senior stakeholders

About You

• 6+ years’ experience within business development, market intelligence, competitive intelligence, research, or strategic insights
• A background in law, financial analysis, economics, financial regulation or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting private equity, funds, asset management, or broader private capital sectors would be highly advantageous
• An in-depth understanding of financial markets, regulatory frameworks and economic trends is essential.
• The ability to interpret complex information and identify patterns that may influence future market activity.
• Experience conducting research, forecasting trends or preparing strategic intelligence reports.
• Commercially minded with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
