Systems Accountant Data Migration Lead

My client is seeking a Systems Accountant to lead the finance workstream of a significant financial systems migration. Acting as the key Finance SME, you’ll work closely with Finance, Technology and senior stakeholders to ensure the successful migration, testing and implementation of a new finance platform.

• Leading the finance systems migration workstream
• Data migration, cleansing, mapping, reconciliation and validation
• Translating finance requirements into system processes and workflows
• UAT, defect resolution, cutover and go-live support
• Improving finance processes, reporting and MI
• Supporting documentation, training and change management

Profile

• Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent
• Finance systems / Systems Accountant experience
• Experience of finance system implementation, migration or upgrades
• Strong knowledge of core accounting processes
• Data migration, reconciliation and testing experience
• Advanced Excel skills and strong stakeholder management capability
• Desirable: MRI Financials, finance transformation

Job Offer

• 12 month Fixed-term contract.
• Up to £73,000 plus benefits
• Hybrid working
