EICR Electrician in Newcastle upon Tyne

Job Description

Your new company Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced EICR Electricians to work on a large, long-term domestic testing contract covering properties across Newcastle and Hull. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a high volume of inspections available.

Role

• Conduct EICR inspections within occupied and void domestic properties
• Complete accurate testing and certification documentation
• Identify and record any defects or observations in line with current regulations
• Manage your own workload across designated postcode areas
• Maintain excellent customer service while working within ‘ homes
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with BS7671 and company procedures

What you’ll need to succeed

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• AM2 qualification 18th Edition
• Wiring Regulations 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience carrying out EICRs within domestic properties
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Own transport preferred
