SALARIED GP

Part Time (4 sessions per week)Initially for 6 months with possible extension

Our well organised and innovative partnership is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join us at one of the largest Practices in SW Essex. Working weekdays only (no extended hours from site) you will be expected to contribute to all aspects of Primary Care Services and to participate at team meetings.

The Practice:

• 13,850 patient GMS Practice.
• 3.5 partners, 1 part time salaried GP.
• 1 nurse practitioner, 3 practice nurses and 2 HCAs.
• Full complement of reception and admin staff.
• System One – paper light.
• High QOF achievement.
• Rated “Good” at the last CQC visit.
• Purpose built health centre.
• Member of the Grays Primary Care Network.

The Job:

• 4 sessions per week (Thursdays and Fridays).
• 30 days annual leave (pro rata) and 5 days study leave (pro rata).
• The demographics of the population are of a relatively young age with the majority of patients aged 40 and under. Therefore you will expect to treat a variety of issues, including long term conditions.
• Salary dependant on experience.
• NHS pension and full indemnity cover included.

Requirements:

• Be on the GMC register.
• Be on the GP Performers List.
• Have Indemnity insurance.
• Experienced or new GP with experience/confidence in managing acute and chronic presentations for both paediatric and adult patients.
