Are you a passionate paediatric nurse or AHP ready to take the next step in your career? We’re offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Paediatric Nurse/AHP Practitioner.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver expert, holistic care to children and young people across SSPAU, inpatient wards, and ED.
- Undertake advanced clinical assessments, diagnostics, and decision-making to plan and evaluate care.
- Prescribe medications, request and interpret investigations, and perform procedures including lumbar puncture.
- Manage complex presentations and make timely referrals within and beyond the Trust.
- Work closely with senior clinicians and APNPs, contributing to the medical Tier 2 rota, responding to resus calls, and accepting acute referrals from GPs.
