We are working with a leading UK law firm on an excellent opportunity to join their Public Procurement team in either Edinburgh or Glasgow. They advise on some of the UKs most significant and complex procurement projects, working with central government departments, major utilities providers and private sector organisations across transport, energy, infrastructure, defence and healthcare.
The Opportunity
This is predominantly a non-contentious, advisory-focused role, offering exposure to nationally significant projects and the opportunity to work closely with some of the country’s leading procurement specialists.
The work will include:
- Advising on procurement strategy, tender processes, direct awards and contract modifications.
- Support major infrastructure projects across rail, aviation, water, energy and defence.
- Advising public authorities, utilities companies and private sector bidders on complex procurement exercises.
- Working alongside specialists in projects, construction, commercial contracts and procurement disputes.
Who Are We Looking For?
A lawyer with 1+ years of PQE with exposure to public procurement, utilities procurement or a related public sector advisory practice. Candidates with transferrable experience and a genuine interest in specialising in procurement law will also be considered.
