Locum Litigation Lawyer

Service Care Legal are currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Litigation Lawyer to join a local authority in the South East on a temporary basis.

ROLE:

Locum Litigation Lawyer – Local Authority

LOCATION:

South East England / Fully Remote (occasional office/court attendance preferred)

RATE:

£55ph umbrella / £48.17ph PAYE inc. holidya pay / £42.99ph PAYE exc. holiday pay

CONTRACT:

3 months with possibility of extension, 28-36 hours per week

The role involves managing a varied and complex caseload of:

• Non-insurance litigation




• Debt recovery (particularly adult social care fees)




• Property and commercial disputes

Key requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer.




• Proven experience managing a varied and complex litigation caseload.




• Previous public sector/local authority experience preferred.




• Strong drafting, advisory and client care skills, including drafting briefs to Counsel.
