n Graduation Assistant (Summer Graduation Ceremonies)n n Location: Glasgown Contract: Temporary 29th October – 6th Novembern Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.00pmn Pay Rate: £13.80per hourn n Job Purposen n n Our client is seeking to recruit a team of enthusiastic and professional Graduation Assistants to support the delivery of their Summer Graduation Ceremonies.n n n Working as part of a dedicated team, you will provide a welcoming first point of contact for graduating students and their guests, helping to ensure that ceremonies run smoothly and efficiently. n n n You will develop and maintain a working knowledge of graduation procedures and associated administrative processes, providing guidance and support to students throughout their graduation experience.n n Main Duties and Responsibilitiesn n

• Check and verify degree parchments for accuracy

n

• Allocate graduation guest tickets in accordance with established procedures

n

• Sign in graduating students and maintain accurate attendance records

n

• Identify and resolve student enquiries and issues within agreed guidelines

n

• Escalate complex issues to Graduation Staff where appropriate

n

• Assist with queue management and crowd flow to minimise bottlenecks and support the smooth running of events

n

• Provide information, guidance and assistance to students and guests throughout the ceremonies

n

• Contribute positively to the overall graduation experience by delivering a high standard of customer service

n

n Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills and Experiencen n You will be able to demonstrate:n n

n
• Experience of participating in or supporting large-scale events 

n

• Experience of working effectively as part of a team

n

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

n

• Strong numeracy and literacy skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

n

• An enthusiastic, helpful and approachable manner

n

• Experience of delivering high-quality customer service, including providing direct support, advice and guidance

n

• The ability to deal sensitively with students, exercising tact, diplomacy and discretion

n

• The ability to remain calm, professional and organised under pressure

n

• Recently graduated from university or have experience of working within a higher education environment would be advantageous

n
