About This Opportunity
Imperial’s SETTL group seeks a Research Associate for an MHI-funded project applying artificial intelligence and computational fluid dynamics to accelerate turbomachinery design for future energy and transport systems.
The researcher will integrate machine learning with computational fluid dynamics so complex turbomachinery components can be generated, evaluated and optimized more efficiently. The work is strongly industry-facing through Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and combines engineering physics, numerical simulation and data-driven design.
