The Role
You’ll be joining a well-run first-opinion practice with a supportive team and realistic expectations. The caseload is sensible, consult times are manageable, and theres trust in your clinical judgement.
There is an element of sole charge, making this a good fit for a vet who enjoys autonomy — but without the pressure of nights or out-of-hours responsibility.
What Youll Be Doing
First-opinion consultations and routine surgery
Managing medical cases with confidence and care
Taking sole charge when required
Working collaboratively with RVNs and support staff
Building long-term relationships with clients
Maintaining strong clinical and professional standards
What Were Looking For
RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
Comfortable with some sole charge
Calm, capable, and clinically confident
Someone who values flexibility and balance alongside good medicine
