About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Account Executive to support our Divisional Director in managing a diverse book of rural commercial business clients. This role focuses on mid-range policies ranging from £10k to £50k. You will also be expected to develop and grow your own book of business, with the opportunity to bring over existing clients (subject to non-compete clauses).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of HNW & Rural insurance clients, including farms, estates, dealerships, and other rural businesses.
• Support the Director with their existing book, focusing on lower-value policies.
• Develop new business opportunities and build a personal book of clients.
• Attend client meetings across the southern region—travel is a key part of the role.
• Maintain high standards of client service and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal Account Handlers and Executives to ensure smooth operations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in rural insurance, with proven Account Executive experience.
• Qualifications: Cert CII qualified (essential), on journey towards DIP.
• Skills: Strong business development track record, excellent interpersonal skills, and a collaborative mindset.
• Other Requirements: Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
