Production Supervisor
£14.75 per hour, Permanent, Monday to Friday Day Shifts
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well‑established production business in Bilsthorpe, and we’re looking for a confident, hands‑on Production Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys leading a team, keeping production running smoothly and getting stuck in in a fast‑paced environment.
The Role
As Production Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for helping to keep the production operation running efficiently while supporting, motivating and leading your team. You’ll be a key part of the day‑to‑day operation, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, food hygiene and health & safety.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and supporting production staff on a daily basis.
- Allocating tasks and managing workloads across the team.
- Ensuring production targets and deadlines are achieved.
- Maintaining high standards of quality and food hygiene.
- Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed.
- Monitoring staff performance and providing support where required.
- Communicating effectively with management and other departments.
- Helping to resolve day‑to‑day production issues.
- Keeping the production area clean, organised and efficient.
- Supporting the smooth running of the operation during busy periods.
- Leading by example and creating a positive team environment.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is confident, organised and enjoys getting the best out of people.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a Supervisor role.
- Experience within food production, manufacturing, warehouse or a similar fast‑paced environment.
- Confidence managing and motivating a team.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
- The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- A proactive, hands‑on approach.
- Good communication and people skills.
- A strong understanding of workplace health & safety.
- Flexibility and a willingness to get involved when required.
