Assistant Site Manager

ITS Construction Professionals are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a residential housebuilding project in Hereford. We are looking for an Assistant Site Manager with previous experience working on new-build residential developments who is looking for their next opportunity with an established housebuilder.

The Role

• Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the development
• Coordinating subcontractors and site teams
• Monitoring build quality and progress
• Ensuring works are completed safely and in line with the programme
• Assisting with site inductions and toolbox talks
• Monitoring health & safety across the development
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and the wider site team
• Ensuring plots are progressing to programme and specification
• Supporting the Site Manager through to completion and handover

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential housebuilding
• Strong knowledge of new-build residential construction
• Experience managing subcontractors and tradesGood understanding of health & safety and quality standards
• CSCS
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• First Aid
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence
