Production Supervisor

Location: Boston

Salary: £16.13 per hour

Contract: Permanent

This Production Supervisor role offers the chance to lead a busy production team in a hands-on environment. You will coordinate daily activity, support colleagues and help deliver output while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support production operatives to meet daily targets and maintain a positive working environment
• Plan and allocate work across the shift, monitoring progress and responding to changes in production priorities
• Maintain quality, hygiene, health and safety standards, escalating issues and ensuring procedures are followed
• Identify bottlenecks, reduce waste and work with colleagues to improve efficiency and consistency
• Train and coach team members, communicate clear handovers and keep accurate production records

Requirements

• Experience leading or supervising a team in food production, FMCG, packaging, horticulture or a similar fast-paced environment
• Confidence organising people and workloads while meeting production, quality and safety requirements
• A practical, approachable leadership style, clear communication and the ability to solve problems on the shop floor
