Compassionate Personal Assistant for a Young Adult

Disability North is seeking a patient, friendly Personal Assistant to support Brian, an 18-year-old, to access community activities and build confidence. You will help him explore interests, visit charity shops, and gradually use buses and public transport at his pace with reassurance and understanding.

The role focuses on building trust, recognizing Brian’s verbal and non-verbal cues, and promoting independence while keeping activities calm and enjoyable.
