How often does the opportunity come along to step into a brand-new COO position and help shape the future of an established, highly regarded law firm?
The firm has around 400 people in its London office, alongside a handful of smaller European offices, and is now creating its first Chief Operating Officer position.
This is an opportunity to take on a broad leadership role, working directly with the Managing Partner and playing a central part in the firm’s future direction.
You’ll lead the firm’s entire Business Operations function, working closely with department heads to bring greater collaboration, coordination and consistency across the firm.
But this role is about much more than managing departments.
It’s about helping shape the firm’s strategy, bringing people and functions together, improving how the business operates and ensuring the firm is well positioned for continued growth.
You’ll have the opportunity to influence decisions at the highest level, lead important strategic projects and make a real difference to how the firm operates.
So, who might this appeal to?
Perhaps you’re already operating at COO level, or you’re a senior Business Services leader ready to take that next step.
You’ll understand how law firms and partnerships work, have experience leading senior teams and be comfortable working closely with Partners. Just as importantly, you’ll know how to bring people with you, influence change and get things done.
