IP Litigation Partner | Manchester or London
An ambitious, growing UK law firm is looking to hire an IP Litigation Partner to join the already established intellectual property offering and take it to the next level. This is a genuine growth hire: the firm has the platform, the client base and the appetite to invest, and it wants a partner who can bring their own profile and ideas to the team.
The team and clients
You’ll join an experienced IP group with a strong reputation for resolving contentious matters and for protecting and commercialising rights on behalf of clients. The client base is varied, spanning brand owners, creative businesses, national and international corporates, and owner-managed businesses. The work covers the full spectrum of IP, including:
- Trade marks and passing off
- Copyright and designs
- Patents
- Confidential information and trade secrets
- Domain name disputes
About you
- A track record of running high-value IP disputes and advising on strategy
- An existing client base, or a clear plan to developing one, with business development experience to match
- A commercial, collaborative approach, with the ability to work closely with colleagues across other practice areas
- Entrepreneurial drive and a wish to help shape the direction of a growing practice
