Delivery Lead

Overview

As a Technology Delivery Lead Specialist, you will guide the delivery of technology solutions for Health and Public Service clients in the UK. You will work with cross-functional teams to design and implement impactful programs, ensuring alignment with client needs and regulatory considerations. You’ll navigate complex delivery environments, balancing agile and structured approaches to drive outcomes. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, PMs, BAs, SMEs and developers to design and deliver solutions
• Lead and mentor team members or junior resources across the delivery lifecycle
• Articulate solutions to stakeholders with varying technical levels and manage relationships
• Adapt to new clients or technologies and select appropriate delivery methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)
• Contribute across the delivery lifecycle in projects involving cloud or SaaS solutions
• Utilize delivery tools (JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel) and DevOps practices
• Translate business needs into actionable design documentation and communicate with stakeholders
• Develop strong relationships with external clients/customers
• Apply functional and non-functional analysis to guide system design
• Demonstrate knowledge of software architecture principles and secure design considerations
• Work with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and GenAI tooling
• Leverage data analysis to inform decision making in delivery
• Advocate for development discipline and regulated industry considerations (health/public sector)
• Support DevOps tooling (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) and continuous delivery initiatives
• Onsite client delivery and collaboration with partners to enable high-quality service

Key requirements

• Experience delivering technology solutions with product owners, PMs, BAs, SMEs and developers
• Proven ability to manage relationships and delivery with stakeholders
• Adaptability to new clients or technologies
• Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies
• 2–3 years across delivery lifecycle roles (PM, design, development, or QA) on complex technology projects (cloud/SaaS)
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel
• Experience with Agentic/GenAI tools (Copilot, Anthropic Claude, AWS Q) in project delivery
• Ability to translate business needs into design documentation
• Strong client relationship skills
• Understanding of software architecture principles and secure system design
• Experience with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Multi-cloud experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Experience in agile environments
• Interest/experience in health and public sector domains
