Trade Analyst

Overview

In this role you support Hyve Solutions’ trade compliance program for the UK and EU. You ensure adherence to customs regulations, export controls, sanctions, and company policies while enabling business operations and reducing regulatory risk. You act as a key compliance resource for import/export activities, focusing on regulatory readiness and risk mitigation. You will work with cross-functional teams to monitor changes and maintain audit-ready records. This is a compliance-focused position at a fast-growing tech manufacturing partner with global reach.

Responsibilities

• Review import/export transactions for UK, EU, and international regulatory compliance
• Assist with tariff classification, customs valuation, and origin determinations; assess free trade agreement eligibility
• Support export control classifications, restricted party screening, sanctions compliance, and licensing requirements
• Conduct compliance reviews and identify corrective actions to mitigate risk
• Assist with customs audits, regulatory inquiries, investigations, and assessments
• Monitor customs broker activities for regulatory compliance
• Track regulatory changes and advise internal stakeholders
• Maintain compliance documentation to support audit readiness

Key requirements

• Bachelor in International Trade, Business, Law, Customs Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field; or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience in trade compliance or related regulatory functions
• Working knowledge of UK and EU customs regulations, export controls, and sanctions
• Experience supporting customs audits, regulatory reviews, and interactions with authorities/brokers
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
